The program traverses centuries and cultures and features two Nova Linea Musica commissions: world premieres by Andrea Casarrubios (Unsaying) and Derrick Skye (Flare and Answer)\, alongside works by Jessie Montgomery\, Aftab Darvishi\, Jorge Amado Molina\, and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson. Also included are John Adams’ vibrant Fellow Traveler and a new arrangement of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz’s Madre la de los primores.
