Dempster St. Pro Music Presents the Lincoln Quartet
Sunday, November 15 @ 2:00 pm - Friday, December 18 @ 3:00 pm CST
Since 2008, Chicago Symphony Orchestra oboist Michael Henoch has been curating consistently insightful and polished chamber music programs through Dempster St. Pro Musica (DSPM). Based in Evanston, north of Chicago, DSPM brings Chicago’s top chamber musicians and ensembles together for Henoch’s innovative programming, played with consummate skill to sold-out houses. This show will feature the Lincoln String Quartet, comprised of members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, performing two of the most cherished works of the quartet literature, Beethoven’s Quartet Op. 135 and Mozart’s String Quartet No. 22, K. 589. Members of the quartet are Qing Hou, violin; Lei Hou, violin; Lawrence Neuman, viola; Kenneth Olsen, cello.
A debut of exceptionally crafted pre-recorded content, coupled with musician + audience videochat.
Tickets are available on the Groupmuse website—$20 plus a $3 reservation fee.
In normal times, we livestream most of our live concerts. In these times, out of concern for our audiences and artists, all Guarneri Hall events are virtual. Find details on how to access each event on its event page.
