DESCRIPTION:Jump to the livestream \nSopranos Kristina Bachrach and Laura Strickling will be joined by pianists Daniel Schlosberg and Scott Wheeler in a benefit concert for the Greater Chicago Food Depository\, organized by Music for Food. The program of contemporary American vocal music includes a world premiere by Scott Wheeler\, based on Suzanne Cleary’s meditation on food and hunger\, “A Piece of Bread.” Admission is free with a suggested donation\, RSVP required on the organizers’ Eventbrite page.
