New Video: Timothy Chooi plays Sunshine on Tashkurgan

Timothy Chooi floored the audience with his brilliant playing at Guarneri Hall in March. One of the highlights of the program was contemporary composer Chen Gang’s Sunshine on Tashkurgan, which Timmy accurately described as a cross between klezmer and Chinese music.
