Summer Music Academy Students Thrive

The Guarneri Hall Summer Music Academy is now finishing its second week, and already the students have had two inspiring masterclasses as well as over 30 hours of supervised practice! Our 10 students, ranging in age from 10 to 22, are joining in from multiple states and time zones to spend three focused weeks not only studying with their teachers and practicing their instruments but also learning about the history of the violin, important historical teachers and performers, and even how to write a concert review. Despite the circumstances keeping these students physically apart this summer, they have created a passionate, hard-working, and supportive community together!
