Guarneri Hall is proud to host the Fry Street Quartet in April 2022. This remarkable quartet was hailed as “a triumph of ensemble playing” by The New York Times, and The Strad Magazine noted their “blend of technical precision and spontaneity.”
In their first appearance at Guarneri Hall, the quartet will perform a program that includes a new work they have commissioned of Chicago pianist and singer Clarice Assad, as well as music of Benjamin Britten.
Fry Street artists are Robert Waters and Rebecca McFaul, violins; Bradley Ottesen, viola; and Anne Francis Bayless, cello.
