CANCELLED – Nova IV: House & Home
Friday, May 22, 2020 @ 6:30 pm CDT

Presented by Constellation Men’s Ensemble and hosted by Guarneri Hall
To be rescheduled—watch for announcements here and on the Constellation website.
If home is where the heart is, what becomes of a heart without a home?
Constellation’s fourth annual NOVA new music series will premiere works giving voice to stories of shelter, displacement, and reunion within and without the four walls of a house. Nova IV will be performed on Friday, May 22 in Guarneri Hall and Saturday, May 23 in Ganz Hall (at Roosevelt University). If you would like to hear the performance in Guarneri Hall, please be sure to select Friday and not Saturday when purchasing your tickets. Get tickets on the Constellation website.
This program will feature the world premiere of Sean Ellis Hussey’s multimedia oratorio “safe, stable, loving, and permanent home,” commissioned by CME about our nation’s foster care system. Additional world premieres by Alex Berko, Rachel DeVore Fogarty, Daniel Gawthrop, Jacqueline Horner-Kwiatek, and Andrey Stolyarov.

In normal times, we livestream most of our live concerts. In these times, out of concern for our audiences and artists, all Guarneri Hall events are virtual. Find details on how to access each event on its event page.
