The late composer, arranger, and conductor Cliff Colnot was a friend, mentor, and supporter to Guarneri Hall and countless others until his passing in February 2024. Cliff was also known as a passionate admirer of Johannes Brahms. In honor of Cliff’s memory, we’re adding an all-Brahms program to our 2025 concert calendar, featuring two early monuments from the composer’s body of work.
Come join us on May 22 when star pianist Adam Neiman teams up with Guarneri Hall Artistic Director Stefan Hersh, violin, and Nexus Chamber Music Co-Artistic Director Alexander Hersh, cello, for an absorbing evening featuring two powerhouse pieces of the Romantic era.
Program
Piano Trio No. 1 in B major, Op. 8
Adam Neiman, piano; Stefan Hersh, violin; Alexander Hersh, cello
Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Op. 5
Adam Neiman, piano
