NEXUS Chamber Music: Upon Wings of Words

The 2021 NEXUS Chamber Music Season 4 kicks off with a concert in the Pavilion at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois on September 9. The program features the world premiere of Upon Wings of Words, Emily Dickinson Settings, a newly commissioned piece by composer Augusta Read Thomas.

Debussy and Ravel

Rising star violinist Geneva Lewis will join pianist Adam Neiman and cellist Alexander Hersh in a program featuring three pieces by Claude Debussy—Violin Sonata, Images Book 2, and L’isle joyeuse—along with Ravel’s Piano Trio.

Metamorphosis of Romanticism

Celebrated New York-based pianist William Wolfram returns to Guarneri Hall this December for an evening entitled Metamorphosis of Romanticism, with violinist Stefan Hersh (Guarneri Hall Artistic Director) and cellist Alexander Hersh, tracing the evolution and breakdown of Romantic music.
