This final concert in the summer 2018 series presented by NEXUS Chamber Music Chicago features the NEXUS artists in Romantic and contemporary German and Viennese masterpieces, interspersed with several inventions by J.S. Bach, the polyphonic inspiration for all composers.

Jörg Widmann: Valse Bavaroise from 24 Preludes for Violin and Cello

Franz Schubert: Fantasie in F minor for Piano Four-Hands, D. 940

Johann Sebastian Bach: Invention in B-flat Major

Johannes Brahms: Piano Trio No. 3 in C minor, Op. 101
