Summer Music Academy (Virtual)
Sunday, July 12 @ 3:00 pm - Friday, July 31 @ 6:30 pm CDT
Guarneri Hall is proud to launch its 2020 Summer Music Academy (Virtual), an intensive training program for serious string players taught by world class faculty. The Academy is a rigorous, full-day program that will run for three weeks, Monday through Friday, from July 12 (orientation) through July 31, 2020. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 program will be offered online rather than in person.
Chicago violinist and gifted pedagogue Addison Teng, who serves on the faculties of the Music Institute of Chicago and DePaul University, has been tapped to lead the new program as Academy Director.
The intensive curriculum includes several masterclasses with renowned guest artists. Masterclasses will be open to the public, with details posted soon.

In normal times, we live stream most of our live concerts. In these times, out of concern for our audiences and artists, all Guarneri Hall events are virtual. Find details on how to access each event on its event page.
