Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Oboe Concerto in C Major, K.314/285d, was composed in the summer of 1777 for the oboist Giuseppe Ferlendis (1755-1802). The concerto is a widely studied piece and is one of the most important works in the oboe repertoire. This arrangement for oboe and string quartet by Cliff Colnot consists of three movements:
I. Allegro aperto
II. Adagio non troppo
III. Rondo: Allegretto
