With a growing reputation for passionate and powerful performances, violinist and NEXUS Co-Artistic Director Brian Hong is forging a career as a soloist and chamber musician. Known for his commanding stage presence, palette of sonic colors, and honest interpretations, Mr. Hong has performed with such orchestras as the Springfield Symphony and the Juilliard Orchestra.

Guarneri Hall is delighted to announce that NEXUS Chamber Music Chicago will return to the hall for its second concert season this summer. NEXUS, a collective of talented young artists committed to stimulating interest in chamber music, was co-founded by violinist Brian Hong and cellist Alexander Hersh. With four concerts planned August 26th - September 8th, NEXUS has programmed a wide variety of chamber works, from standard classics to lesser-known pieces that justly deserve a place in the canon.
