Chicago area stars Stephen Alltop Harpsichord and Josefien Stoppelenburg soprano will be joined by Chicago-area guest artists for an all-Bach program in honor of Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday.
On March 28th violinist Timothy Chooi makes his Guarneri Hall debut. Chooi has been increasingly in demand as a soloist and recitalist since taking second place at Belgium’s world-renowned 2019 Queen Elisabeth Competition, First Prize, the 2018 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Germany, and the First Prize, the 2018 Schadt Violin Competition in the USA.
Violinist Maria Ioudenitch and pianist Evren Ozel, both prize winners in multiple national and international competitions, join forces to present a concert in Guarneri Hall in April.

NEXUS Chamber Music Co-artistic Directors Brian Hong and Alexander Hersh have invited an all-star group to Guarneri Hall for the 6th annual NEXUS Chamber Music Festival. The raucous program, entitled Night at the Disco, features works by Boccherini, Eleanor Alberga, and Aaron Jay Kernis.
Acclaimed Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Chrystal E. Williams and pianist Natalia Kazaryan are featured in a program that celebrates the collaboration between the sexes in poetry and song with art songs that have been underrepresented in music history.
