Georges Boulanger was born in Tulcea, Romania to a Romani family with a long musical tradition. He was known as a Romani violin virtuoso and composed over 250 pieces in his lifetime, many of which were based on traditional Roma themes. Serenade Tzigane is one such piece, arranged here by Cliff Colnot for violin, cello and piano.
