    Guarneri Hall is delighted to welcome NEXUS Chamber Music Chicago back for this year's four-concert NEXUS Chamber Music Festival.   • NEXUS Concert 3: Folk Songs in Counterpoint

    NEXUS' third concert, "Folk Songs in Counterpoint," includes a string quartet by Florence Price, who lived in Chicago and rose to the highest echelon of American composers during the first half of the 20th century. Also programmed are works by Barrière, the Danish String Quart (arr.), Price, and Arensky. Musicians are Brian Hong, violin; Siwoo Kim, violin; Tanner Menees, viola; Brannon Cho, cello; and Alexander Hersh, cello.

  • Flautist Anastasiya Ganzenko, Aeolian Classics Winner

    Guarneri Hall welcomes Anastasiya Ganzenko, First Prize Winner of the 2019 Aeolian Classics Emerging Artist Competition at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Ms. Ganzenko will be joined by pianists Adam Nieman and Winston Choi in an exciting program including works by Fauré, Debussy, Prokofiev, and others.
